ABOUT PSE

Palestine Society Edmonton Family Support Fund is a Not-For-Profit organization.

The idea of this organization was brought about by a Palestinian activist who touched the needs for some fleeing from war families to Edmonton .

Palestinians and Pro-Palestine activists worked together to start this society and set it's objective

Mission

We tender to contact and support families who are in need. In war time, and during the war in different provinces of Palestine, many families fled their homeland to other countries and other families were displaced. Both are facing challenges to survive. We seek to help families in need.

THEY NEED YOUR HELP

Some of the evacuees from Gaza are not permitted to work.

Many of the evacuees from Gaza were doing professional jobs In Gaza, but can not find any type of jobs after been evacuated from Gaza.

Some of the evacuees are on sponsorship program which increases the financial burden of their sponsors.

The estimated cost of life for a family of 4 is about CAD5000 per month in Edmonton.

Most of the evacuees lost many of their beloved people and homes in Gaza.

Evacuees are not getting continues or enough financial support , some are in bad financial situation.

Some evacuees are not permitted to attend schools, so they can not improve their skills, education and language to meet labor market requirements .

Mental health is a big challenge for many of the evacuees.
